Our Staff


Greg Burdwood
Executive Director
BA in human development and social relations; MA. in counseling Greg joined the HUB in 2004. He has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1983 in a variety of direct service and administrative roles.


Lisa Paone
Parent and Fatherhood Education Manager
Lisa is responsible for the HUB's programming, classes and groups, as well as training for HUB facilitators. She oversees training materials and curricula that are up-to-date and relevant for today's complex families. Currently, Lisa is continuing her education at Granite State College with a degree in human services. She has four wonderful children and her first grandchild.


Deirdre Siede
Healthy Beginnings Home Visitor
Deirdre has a bachelor's degree in sociology from Wells College, Aurora, NY and over two decades of experience working with families and home visiting programs.


Suzanne Weete
Marketing Coordinator
Suzanne became involved with the HUB as a new parent with a 15-month-old son and another baby on the way. She attended parent/toddler playgroups and also began to volunteer for the HUB. Suzanne graduated from the University of Maine in Orono in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree. Her background includes sales and marketing work in the minor league baseball and high tech industries.


Denise Lepine
Manager of intake and home visiting services
Denise has a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire. She is the intake manager for all home visiting services and oversees Healthy Beginnings and Family Wellness for the HUB.  Her experience comes from working with families at Head Start and also from working at the HUB several years ago. Denise is married and has three children, two dogs, and three cats.


Marty Fenton
Healthy Beginnings Home Visitor
Marty has an associate's degree from Chandler College and has been working for the HUB since 1999. In addition to home visiting for our Healthy Beginnings program, she is a group facilitator at the HUB.


Tara Bianchi
Family Wellness Home Visitor
Coordinator and Intervention Specialist Tara graduated from Suffolk University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in women's studies. Tara has been with the HUB since 2008. Previously, Tara interned at the YMCA Training, Inc. where she taught women the necessary skills to enter or re-enter the workforce, as well as how to create relationships in the workplace that would help them succeed.


Laurie Parker
Children's Enrichement Coordinator
Laurie first learned of the HUB when she attended parent groups at their first location in the First Parish Church Annex on Silver Street in Dover. Fortunately, a job opened back in 1997 and she has enjoyed working with children at the HUB ever since.

Somersworth Youth Connection Staff


Maureen Jackman
Director of the Somersworth Youth Connection (SYC)
Maureen is the director of the SYC, which began in the fall of 2007. Somersworth was selected as the recipient of the 21st Century Community Learning Center project by the Department of Education to develop and implement academic, enrichment, and health and wellness activities, for middle school students after school and a six-week summer learning program. The creation of SYC has been a collaborative effort and partnership between SAU 56 and the HUB. Previously Maureen was the assistant director of the Somersworth recreation department. Maureen attended the University of Maine and received a bachelor's degree in social work.


Ashley Lagasse
Program Coordinator of the Somersworth Youth Connection
Ashley has a bachelor's degree from Keene State College in social science and secondary education. Before she joined the HUB, she worked at Americorps with Plus Time NH for an after school program.
