HUB PROGRAMS
The HUB has programs to fit every family at every stage. From baby and toddler play groups, to parent groups and home
visiting services, we provide parenting support to help raise healthy children in caring homes. The HUB offers scholarships for groups or classes for eligible individuals or families based on a formula of income or other forms of financial assistance.
Parent education classes are offered throughout the year at locations in Strafford County. Class offerings change each
quarter, and can run from four to 10 weeks long.
Ongoing parent groups, facilitated by a HUB parent educator, are offered throughout Strafford County. Some groups offer
childcare by HUB childcare employees.
Just for dads, dads-to-be, and father figures.
The Healthy Beginnings Program offers pregnant women, and new mothers in
need of extra support an opportunity to have regular home visits with an experienced parent educator to help find answers
to their many questions and offer support as a new baby is welcomed into the world.
The Family Wellness Program works with families under stress, offering
support and encouragement on a regular basis. The HUB's home visitors provide support services and connections to community
resources for families undergoing short-term or long-term difficulties.
